It's a gloomy Sunday today. Both of us stayed at home, enjoyed "The International" movie, which is a very disappointing movie at all. The gap between breakfast and lunch is just 3 hours. I cooked Lentil Soup or "Turkish Soup" as my Mama called it, for lunch. For a first timer like us, this dish is foreign to us. Hahaha, end up with 5 star from Mr Mykita. This soup is best eaten with bread. For you out there, who never try this dish, should try it. Simple and easy.
- Just saute some chopped onion and garlic,
- pour in one cup of lentil,
- Pour water to boil the lentil,
- half tin of tomato puree,
- and a dash of salt (suit to your own taste).
I guarantee this dish is low carb and fat. Good for fertility =). Enjoy your lentil soup.
